Outfit of the Day!

Hello! So here is my first Outfit of the Day (OOTD)! This is what I wore on Saturday night.  I went out to dinner with a friend that I hadn't seen in forever and we had TONS of catching up to do! Nothing like some great girl talk :)

My top is from Forever 21 from the Love 21 collection, my jeans are from Charlotte Russ, my shoes are from a vintage store, my purse is Michael Kors and was a birthday present, and lastly my bracelet is the bracelet I bought last Sunday! Hope you guys enjoy my Outfit of the Day!

More Scrumptious Deals!

     So today I woke up, got ready, and was so excited to start my day...then my plans fell through! Two thumbs down for flakes!!! Any who, after lounging around I decided I DID NOT want to spend  Sunday at home. Then I decided to go do one of the things I do best...SHOP!!!
     I went to an outdoor mall and just started browsing.  The first store I walked into was an accessories store. They had some beautiful hamsa bracelets.  You will all come to learn that I LOVE hamsa jewelry! The bracelet I bought was an evil eye hamsa bracelet. I've been wanting one for the longest time and now I found one! They also had a pair of adorable small red Chanel earrings that I regret not getting...hmmm I might just have to go back for them! Oh and I can't forget the best part, my amazing bracelet was only $8.00!
     After leaving the store I kept browsing different stores but didn't find anything that really caught me eye. Then I came across a shoe store...a girl can never have too many shoes! After looking around for a bit I didn't find anything I really liked and then way in the back were a pair of cute black flats (something I've desperately been needing!!) After trying them on and loving them I looked to see how much they were...I couldn't believe my eyes they were $9.00! Could you believe it? I didn't believe it until I paid for them! The only catch was that the shoes were final sale but hey I'm not planning on returning them!
     My day didn't start off as expected but  I ended up having an amazing day! I got a beautiful bracelet for $8.00 and adorable black flats for $9.00.  Now thats what I call a successful Sunday.

Mouthwatering Shoe Deal!

Hello everyone...or is anyone even out there!?!?

     Haha okay ANYWAYS! I wanted to share the FABULOUS deal I got on a pair of amazing shoes! I bought a pair of off white Steve Madden shoes(pictures below) for $17.00.  YES ladies you read this correctly! These shoes were originally $90.00 but I found a spectacular deal on Macy's website. 

     I never really buy things online but lately I've started browsing online and have come across some really awesome deals, like my Steve Madden shoes.  I wasn't thrilled about having to pay the shipping and handling fee...(I know I was being cheap!) but after thinking about it, I saved myself gas money, the headache of having to shove through a crowd of people, and then digging through a pile of shoes! At least that’s how I made myself feel better! But either way I was very pleased with my purchase. But I still haven't even shared the best part. Yeah I know what you're probably thinking.... "She just bought a pair of Steve Madden shoes for $17 what could be better?!" Well the best part is that they are SOO comfortable AND fit perfectly!  The shoes have a 5-inch wedge and about 2.5-inch platform and when I wear them I feel like I’m wearing sandals. These shoes have great arch support!

            Hello fellow bloggers and welcome to Lip Smacking Shoes and Desserts!  I am so excited to start blogging about my two biggest passions…fashion AND desserts!  I will blog  about some of my outfits of the day,  about great purchase I’ve made,  as well as share recipes on different desserts.  I’ll even tell you about my unsuccessful recipes! Feel free to share with me any recipes you’ve tried and loved or about any FABULOUS purchases you’ve made! I wanna hear all about it! 

            Now that I’ve shared what my blog is about, let me tell you a little about myself. First off, my name is Kimberly-Alexis. I’m a fun loving and laid-back girl that absolutely loves to shop and bake. Some of my past hobbies have been piano, ballet, painting, and many many others.  I’ve always liked to dabble in many things but I’ve only stuck to shopping and baking. I guess shopping is in my blood. My mother tells me I was 6 weeks old the first time she took me to the mall. I didn’t cry once and I’m told I seemed right at home.  My mother knew then I was a natural born shopper.  As for baking, it wasn’t until I was 10 years old that I discovered my passion.  I took my first baking class and that’s when I fell in love.
